1.  At your first appointment you will be greeted by our friendly receptionists, who will then ask you to provide us with your medical history on our specially designed iPad app. This allows us to quickly and easily process your information.

2.  During your consultation with one of our oral surgeons you may have digital image taken of you mouth and teeth, so your surgery can be planned effectively. We use either 2D or 3D imaging depending on your needs. See our imaging page for more information.
Following your digital x-ray, the image will immediately be available on screen in the consultation room for your surgeon to discuss with you.

3.  Prior to your surgery, we will make sure you fully understand your treatment, and you will be asked to sign consent forms. Again, these are completed on an iPad for speed and simplicity.

4.  In the operating room your digital images, as well as your personal information and signed consent forms, are displayed on dedicated screens. This ensures that your surgeon has all the information readily available that they need to perform your surgery to the highest level.

5. Your surgery will be performed under local anaesthetic and sedation, or just local anaesthetic, depending on the type of surgery and your needs as discussed with your surgeon.
If you are being sedated, your level of sedation is carefully monitored to ensure your experience is entirely comfortable and pain-free.
With all surgeries, your comfort is monitored and appropriate local anaesthetic and pain relief is used to ensure a positive experience. Your heart-rate, blood-pressure, oxygen levels and other vital signs are all carefully monitored with specialist equipment by our highly qualified nurses.

6.  After your surgery, you will be looked after in our comfortable recovery room by one of our caring nurses. Your vital signs will continue to be monitored as you fully wake up, and your nurse will make sure you remain comfortable.
Your nurse will also record your recovery, pain-relief and any other information on an iPad, to ensure your information is fully up-to-date and readily accessible by our team.
